What is an ecological building? Eco-design involves the integration of appropriate and sustainable technologies into a building, including passive solar heating, rainwater harvesting, green or turf roofs, ground source heat pumps etc. The fabric of the building is also constructed from sustainable materials sourced locally wherever possible and with low embodied energy and low transport increments. Organic Architecture, on the other hand, is rooted in a deep understanding of the living qualities of each uinique site, and through connecting closely to the wishes and individualities of our clients. We aim to generate the form of the building from the landscape it inhabits and wrap it around the needs of our clients so that it fits snugly and seamlessly to their needs.
